Sam H. Carr
Managing Partner
Sam Carr has over 25 years of experience in financial management and consulting. He is a finance and operations executive with broad-based experience that includes 12 years as a Chief Financial Officer or Chief Accounting Officer in mid-sized private and public corporations. As CFO of a major healthcare company, Sam orchestrated an initial public offering (IPO) of a rollup consolidation throughout the United States.
Sam has managed multiple regulatory compliance engagements for international clients, including several assignments related to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, as well as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Under Sam’s leadership, Morgan Garris has served as the outsourced internal business controls department for several multinational corporations.

Guy M. Morgan
Founding Partner
Guy Morgan has over 30 years of experience in financial management and consulting. He has a proven track record as a corporate financial practitioner, having held both Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer positions, as well as Director of Internal Business Controls for a number of public companies.
Through Morgan Garris, Guy has helped many public companies review and redesign their business processes, strengthening the confidence and increasing the reliance CFOs and CAOs place on their processes, internal controls and the accuracy of their financial reporting. He has championed numerous SOX engagements, assisting management in bringing their financial organizations into compliance with the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. He has significant experience in documentation of controls, design and operating effectiveness issues, and reporting findings along with recommended process improvements to executive management.
